Vignesh International School joins with ILAM THALIR Organization to raise awareness on the impact of plastic pollution and encourage our ancestral ways of using Manjapai. Art & Craft activity was conducted in Vignesh International School on 04-05-2023 where the students made various Art & Craft things in a fabulous way.

Cookery activity was conducted in Vignesh International School on 03-05-2023 where all the students prepared Traditional & Nutritious food items. This activity showed their interest and ability in cooking skill.

No bag day was held in 29-04-23 where all the students brought & shared their food/snacks to others. They exhibited their individual talents on the stage and enjoyed the whole day with fun and joy.

VIS Awareness Rally / Say No to Plastic 2023

Awareness Rally was held in Tiruvannamalai, by Vignesh International school Students on 25-04-2023. Students Carried Pluck cards stating the usage of Eco- friendly and pollution free things . They created awareness to the people to use only cloth bags instead of plastic & paper bags.

VIS Science Exhibition 2023.

A Science Exhibition was held in Vignesh International School on 18.03.2023 & 19.03.2023, where in students showcased Projects models which can be used for learning various scientific concepts efficiently.Students made still charts and posters to present their topics. Students shared their ideas and collectively galvanized those ideas to bring something innovative into implementation.

Tuck shop

Vignesh International School held its Tuck shop on Tuesday, 1st of November, 2022, and it was a huge success. The students are given chance to sell eatables and collect tokens from the buyers. Thus students learn basic business etiquette by attracting buyers for their individual stall. The main motive of conducting tuck shop is to make the students to practice entrepreneurship. In the end, with the help of teachers, each shops’ tokens will be collected and checked for overall turnover.


National Level Kabbadi & Football in inter-School competition

" It is dream of every sportsman to lift up the winner's trophy for the School " It is a matter of exhilarating the happiest moment that Vignesh International School students (Grade X and XII) competently qualified for the National Level Kabbadi & Football in inter-School competition. 18 students participated in that competition and went to Goa for the Final round. With their profound confidence, they got First prize in Kabbadi and Second prize in Football The students proved their talent and received National Level Trophy in Goa, which is been conducted by National Level Federation cup in Goa. Our school Chairman, Administrator, Principal and teachers congratulated the winners and appreciated their high achievements!


Navratri Special - Golu Dolls

Vignesh International School, Tiruvannamalai, adorned a festive look. On the first day of Navratri, devotees of Maa Durga worshiped Maa Shailputri, known to be a form of Parvati and a reincarnation of Sati. Golu Dolls are arranged according to the tradition and the students sang hymns and recited slogas in praise of Goddess Durga. Children had an insight of our rich culture and heritage. Information on Durga Puja and the various forms of celebrations like dance and songs are performed during the Pooja.


13th Annual Sports Day

On Saturday, 24th of September, our school celebrates 13th Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm. The program started with prayer at 9:30 am. All the students and teachers were very energetic that day; enthusiasm could be easily seen in their eyes. Our chief guest arrived at 9:15 am and inaugurated our sports program by lighting the lamp.

Various sports programs were organized by the School Sports Department on this day in which students participated according to their interests. All the games were organized in our school playground. Along with this, a stage was also made in the ground in which all the senior-most teachers, principal sir, and our chief guest were sitting. After all the games were over, there was a prize distribution ceremony in which all the members of the match-winning team were given prizes at the hands of our chief guest.


Field Trip

What do you remember from school? Every student comes to the classroom with a different world experience. When students leave the classroom, they see the connections between what is happening at school and in the ‘Real-World’. They begin to see that what they learn within the walls of the classroom can help them solve the problems they see in the world around them and can have a direct impact on who they become as people. Today KG to Grade – II, Students explored and enjoyed their time in Arunagiri children’s park.



HINDI DIWAS NATIONAL LEVEL COMPETITION On Tuesday, 13th of September, 20 Students of our school participated in Hindi Diwas National Level Competition conducted by SATHYABAMA INSTITUTE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY, Chennai. Onam Celebrated 2022

Onam, the harvest festival of Kerala, was celebrated at our school on Thursday, 8th of September 2022 by the staff and students. Children brightened the campus with colourful flower rangoli. The flower Rangoli was a collaborative activity of all the staff members of the school. The huge colourful flower carpet adorned the portico of the school campus, symbolizing peace and serenity in the world, economic well-being and resource sharing, love and brotherhood, high ethics and morals, and human justice

Fancy Dress Competition Conducted (Gr.I to Gr.IV)

Life is one big Fancy Dress party. It was the most awaited event of the year, as it is always a pleasure to watch the toddlers dressed up as different characters. It was overwhelming to see our little ones speaking confidently.


World Music Day


International Yoga Day

Vignesh International School celebrates World Music Day along with International Yoga Day by singing Yoga Song. Students showcase their talent in yoga asanas. The theme of this year's Yoga Day celebrations is 'Yoga for Humanity' and around 25 crore people across the world are expected to take part in various events, doing yoga in unison towards better health and wellness for all.

Vignesh International School celebrates Yoga day by visiting old age home and teaching yoga postures to aged people



VIS held its Annual sports day on 3rd November 2019 during school hours in the school ground.The aim behind holding the event was to inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship and fondness for sports in children. The day was a fun filled fest of laughter, energy and delight as around 1000 students presented and participated in various activities. The school’s Chairman Mr. R.Kuppuswamy kindly presided over the event as the Chief Guest. The school's AO Mrs.S.Savitha, Principal Mr. Shiva kumar, and Principal of VMS Mrs.Revathi also graced the occasion.

The event began with the March pass performed by the students of VIS. It was followed by a flag hoisting ceremony. The sports meet was declared open formally by a simple but heartfelt dedication to the desire for peace. Our beloved Chairman released two white pigeons to mark the desire. An oath was administered to students to participate in the sports day with true sportsman spirit.

Students took part in drills, Karate, track events and relay races. Notable among them were various kinds of races including karate, and relay race, aerobics, display of sports equipment and Yoga. The spectators were particularly enthused by the gymnastic performances and praised the efforts profusely. Prize distribution services were held at the conclusion of each event.
