The existence of student governance, and the election of student representatives to the school government, is an essential component of a “democratic school” and in our school we name it as VIS Sansad. To develop leadership skills and critical thinking, student election will be conducted every year in VIS to select various heads of the school. The experience of democracy through the existence of democratic practices in our school, such as participation in a student government which does have genuine power, represents a valuable learning experience about democracy. The elected group of students charged with managing a wide range of events, activities and programs.
